In my Senior PM role I have been the voice of our customer, taken ownership of product delivery, taken responsibility for UX design, and have taken on team leadership responsibilities. In addition, I have:
-
Executed GTM for two new products
-
Led cross-functional teams for product development and GTM strategies
-
Undertaken international industry and competitor analysis in the USA
-
Developed and executed strategic product roadmaps
-
Worked closely with our Tech Lead and development team to execute product delivery
-

I have recently been working as an Academic Tutor for The Design Thinking course, which aims to teach first year IT students the foundational skills in user-centric design, cultural sensitivity, prototyping, and improving their communication skills with stakeholders and as part of cross-functional teams.
This was my initial Product Management role at Surgical Order and provided many opportunities for rapid development of my Product Management skills due to the nature of a vibrant health-tech startup.
Here's some of the tasks I was involved in:
-
Obtaining user input and feedback for product innovation
-
Creating PRDs, development tickets (Epics, Stories, Tasks etc.), and competitor analyses.
-
Prioritised product backlog with clear communication across sales, development, and executives
-
Managed customer and stakeholder relationships
-
Collaborated with marketing and attended events and conferences on behalf of the company
-
Collaborated with operations team on ISO27001 accreditation
This was my initial role in the software industry, I was fortunate enough to extend my core responsibilities as a Customer Support Representative to a Product role, leveraging my experience as a registered Pharmacist in the generation of a Pharmacy Logistics platform.
In my previous life as a registered Pharmacist, I displayed and further developed high levels of empathy, patience, and advanced communication skills to translate complex pharmacotherapeutic principles to patients of all cultures and backgrounds.
These roles were undertaken during my initial time in University. Tasks were varied, however, what I gained from these roles was vastly improved communication skills, greater self-confidence and personability, and importantly, a greater sense of time management and ability to work under pressure.
